The nature of the 1-800-Flowers.com workload is dependent upon the number of customers that are placing orders. You will serve as the first contact a customer has with the company, so it important that you have the utmost of professionalism! The pay rate for this position is $14 per hour!

All the customer is calling for is to place an order of flowers, and your job is to place that order and guide them through the process, adding suggestions of upsells to increase the overall order total. Like I said this is only a seasonal position, and 1-800-Flowers.com receives much more calls on holidays like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Christmas than normal. They call these their "Gold Rush" days, and they need lots of agents to be ready to handle the large number of calls coming in. If you work these days, typically 2-4 before a major holiday and 1-3 days after the holiday, you're very likely to work a high number of hours.
